This is Footmen Infinite. So far i have 12 custom heroes, 4 races with 3 tiers each, and around 45 items including recipes. The game features a lot of different things other footmen do not. For example this footmen encourages players to not stand in base for 30 hours, for having control of the center will earn your team bonus income. As of right now the game is at decent balance but of course with all new maps there is always room for improvement. I hope some people like it and i can get some feedback on it.

Please try it out and leave me feedback, if you'd like to discuss anything my xfire is honeymustard

Thanks and enjoy!

If you want to make a kick ass footman map, add a AI!!!! A good one too, not one that just masses the middle constantly and occasionally upgrades and auto tiers. Make a good AI and your map will do very well

If you make a good AI it would be good for subsittutes, or if someone wants to play SP on it

Rui's Review ("Footman :: InFiNiTe" version 1.9)
Pluses and Minuses
√ Hive Workshop requirements

√ Imported Material
√ Machine/Net-friendly
√ Spelling & Grammar

+/- Terrain
+/- Balance
+/- Packaging
+/- Object Editor work quality

(X) Fun Factor/Gameplay
"Footman :: InFiNiTe" is a Footman Frenzy map with a few unique features. It is (apparently) bug-free and net-friendly (does not lag).

What I enjoyed most about this map was the originality. You were averagely original on the unit spawn and the items. Not so original with the terrain -- it is just a Footman Frenzy map terrain structure. A good option would have been to diversify that a little or add various arenas and let the host (or the players) decide in which to play.

Even though it is original, the gameplay turned out to be long and boring, thus the (X) on the Fun Factor. Another problem I see with this map is the balance: ranged heroes can stick behind the lines and gain experience very quickly, while melee heroes can be slowed/entangled and then targeted. Melee heroes become, therefore, underpowered compared to the ranged ones.
I'm also in doubt with the 10/10 upgrades. Going for items should be at least nearly as worth as upgrading your forces, else players tend to follow that line of events (going for upgrades, then items), which is bad for strategy diversity.
One last tip for the packaging: put the changelog in HIDDEN tags next to the map's description.
My rating for this resource is 5/10, approximately 3 (Useful). The map is Approved.
