I've started the creation of a new spawn-based map called: Cry of the Sin'dorei taking place in the aftermath of Quel'thalas.
Units spawn every 120 seconds of gameplay.
So, my problem is that im having quite a hard time figuring out how to set a SpawnCap for the different factions.

Would be glad to get some help with figuring this one out.

you could use unit limits or just a food cap..

  • Untitled Trigger 001
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit enters (Playable map area)
    • Conditions
      • ((Owner of (Triggering unit)) Food used) Greater than or equal to 100
    • Actions
      • Unit - Remove (Triggering unit) from the game
theres other easy ways to do it too but heres this :)
if heros enter the map later then add a condition to make sure its not a hero
or you can just specify the unit type.

Thanks for the help.
It's quite help full, mostly the second notice of how to add heroes later.

Rest of the post's:
Thanks for giving you're time, but it'd rather have a spawn-based map, rather than a unit-training map.
