Welcome to the third and final installment of "Flayl's guides to Warhammer 40K TD". This time we are going to learn how to beat Normal with Necron without leaking (or at least, with minimal leaking).

This guide assumes you are ok at using the -da function and know how and where to maze (the best spot is usually in the middle area right after your spawn lane).

General comment on Necron: If I was forced to say which was the best race in Warhammer 40K TD, I'd have to answer Necron for more than one reasons. They have one of the best tower for early levels, the flayed one, which has a 50% slow poison and a super fast attack rate; a really good splash for the beginning of middle game, the destroyer/heavy destroyer; one of the two best support units, the deceiver; An awesome late game tower with a good attack rate too, which gets even better with the deceiver, the monolith; and last but not least they have the best lumber tower in the game, C'Tan Stargod. If grey is playing necron, you definitely want to give him gold for the last levels, C'Tan just about makes the impossible probable. Siege shouldn't be a problem with Necron, even late game, thanks to the super bonus damage heavy destroyers deal to mechanical units. This packet also has double value thanks to it's medium splash, which should be pretty good for air levels beyond level 5. Unlike the other guides, this one doesn't feature ensnare, but then again I doubt Necron needs it. Let's find out.

Here are the first ten levels.

Before Level 1: Necron have a different way of starting the game, you will notice that if you play online. There is a good reason behind it too, it's more effective. Basically build a flayed one in the middle of what would be your first line of towers and then build a warrior 4 spaces above it.
- You now have 1 Warrior and 1 Flayed One

Before Level 2: Build 5 more warriors and deposit the rest of your gold.
- You now have 6 Warriors and 1 Flayed One

Before level 3: Same as level 2, build another 5 warriors and deposit the rest.
- You now have 11 Warriors and 1 Flayed One

Before level 4: Now, instead of spending all our gold, we're just going to build 2 warriors and save the reamining gold.
- You now have 13 Warriors and 1 Flayed One

Before level 5: Build one pariah and deposit the rest of your gold. This should be enough to get through this air level, unless you put it in a weird spot.
- You now have 13 Warriors, 1 Flayed One and 1 Pariah

Before level 6: Deposit all your gold. We're saving for more powerful towers.
- You now have 13 Warriors, 1 Flayed One and 1 Pariah

Before level 7: Build a Destroyer and deposit the rest of your gold.
- You now have 13 Warriors, 1 Flayed One, 1 Destroyer and 1 Pariah

Before level 8: Build another destroyer. You have this mechanical level easy.
- You now have 13 Warriors, 2 Destroyers, 1 Flayed One, and 1 Pariah

Before level 9: Destroyers are pretty powerful so you can just save your gold.
- You now have 13 Warriors, 2 Destroyers, 1 Flayed One, and 1 Pariah

Before level 10: You should be able to build a Wraith now. Do so, and use it's spell every level, as soon as the creeps reach your maze. Don't wait too long or the spell will still be in cooldown time in the next level. If you are playing solo use it on all EVEN levels.
- You now have 13 Warriors, 2 Destroyers, 1 Flayed One, 1 Pariah and 1 Wraith

The next part of the guide should come soon.

Before level 11: Instead of using gold for more powerful towers now, we're going to maze a bit more. Build a flayed one and 2 Warriors. Deposit the rest.
- You now have 15 Warriors, 2 Destroyers, 2 Flayed Ones, 1 Pariah and 1 Wraith

Before level 12: Repeat what you did for level 11. You will notice that your deposited gold is increasing.
- You now have 17 Warriors, 3 Flayed Ones, 2 Destroyers, 1 Pariah and 1 Wraith

Before level 13: Build a pariah and deposit your gold.
- You now have 17 Warriors, 3 Flayed Ones, 2 Destroyers, 2 Pariahs and 1 Wraith

Before level 14: Build a flayed one and save your remaining gold. Guess what's coming up next!
- You now have 17 Warriors, 4 Flayed Ones, 2 Destroyers, 2 Pariahs and 1 Wraith

Before level 15: Yeah, time to build a Deceiver! This should really get your maze going. Don't forget to deposit your cash. The 2 Pariahs with the aid of the Deceiver can handle this air level.
- You now have 17 Warriors, 4 Flayed Ones, 2 Destroyers, 2 Pariahs, 1 Wraith and 1 Deceiver

Before level 16: Ok this is the first boss level. Upgrade one of your destroyers to a heavy destroyer. When they come, use the Wraith's Inferno and focus fire all of your power (except flayed ones) on one of them. Deposit as soon as you manage to kill one of them.
- You now have 17 Warriors, 4 Flayed Ones, 2 Pariahs, 1 Heavy Destroyer, 1 Destroyer, 1 Wraith and 1 Deceiver

Before level 17: You should have a good amount of cash now. Let's upgrade our maze's efficiency. Sell your 2 pariahs and 2 warriors in the middle of the maze and replace them with flayed ones. This should slow all of the incoming creeps. Your heavy destroyer makes this level easy.
- You now have 15 Warriors, 8 Flayed Ones, 1 Heavy Destroyer, 1 Destroyer, 1 Wraith and 1 Deceiver

Before level 18: Okay, just to boost your maze's normal damage and save up even more cash, upgrade all of your remaining warriors to Immortals.
- You now have 15 Immortals, 8 Flayed Ones, 1 Heavy Destroyer, 1 Destroyer, 1 Wraith and 1 Deceiver

Before level 19: Finally, let's get the second most powerful Necron tower, the Monolith! Just one of them so you don't spend all the gold.
- You now have 15 Immortals, 8 Flayed Ones, 1 Heavy Destroyer, 1 Destroyer, 1 Monolith, 1 Wraith and 1 Deceiver

Before level 20: Upgrade your last destroyer to a heavy destroyer and deposit the rest.
- You now have 15 Immortals, 8 Flayed Ones, 2 Heavy Destroyers, 1 Monolith, 1 Wraith and 1 Deceiver

Before level 21: Build another monolith and save the rest.
- You now have 15 Immortals, 8 Flayed Ones, 2 Heavy Destroyers, 2 Monoliths, 1 Wraith and 1 Deceiver

Before level 22: Sell an immortal and replace it with a destroyer. Do the usual and deposit the remaining gold.
- You now have 15 Immortals, 8 Flayed Ones, 2 Heavy Destroyers, 2 Monoliths, 1 Destroyer, 1 Wraith and 1 Deceiver

Before level 23: I'm going to have to end the guide here for now, because I can't find a way to beat level 24. More coming soon.
