[Aeon of Strife] FLAVOURED AOS WITH COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZED ABILITIES

Right now i'm atempting to make an AoS/Moba mixed with sandbox.
I would say is 40% done...so i think it corresponds to this section.

- Base is AoS/MOBA type of game. Two sides, lane pushing, and an opposing base to destroy.
- Flavour: space marine, apocalyptic-futuristic flavor. Guns, grenades, barrels, computers, tanks, aircraft, lava, etc.
- Abilities: completely customized, like this:
- Heroes start completely naked and exactly the same for each player.
- Every level, heroes gain 1 point of "research". At the start, players get 2 research right off the bat.
- Research is spent learning/leveling abilities (from ability pools), upgrading the hero stats, adding units to the waves, unlocking things, etc.
- No fancy UI modifications, it is possible to make a completely customized QWER ability system with the default WC3 UI and some triggers. The first ability you learn will be automatically Q, the second W, and so on; if you already learned it, then you will just level it.
- Items:
- Heroes don't have inherent attack damage, but they unlock, buy/craft, enhance and equip weapons (ej. rifle, carbine, sniper rifle, rocket launcher, even some melee weapons etc.).
- Consumables are flavoured: stims, medpacks, grenades, special bullets.
- Other:
- Thinking on adding missions, that appear at random and that involve both sides. A "minning or gathering" mission and a "rescue and then escort" mission are the basic ones.
- Teleport is flavoured too: after some time an aircraft will escort you to the building you want to go.

The game will look extremely simple (because every player will have the exact same hero). Still, players will make their builds by deciding which weapon to equip and how to spend their research points.
The map will be also small in size and i will not put too much of effort in terraining, atleast in the first version.

I think mobas and AOS have been done to death here, but if it's fun for you than who cares. On a more specific note - if all heroes can build all abilities, than every game you play is the same. Although it's sometimes counter intuitive, class and hero limitations actually add for more diverse and unique gameplay experiences. otherwise - you just end up gravitating towards the build you think is optimal every game.
