fixing a broken map

hey i found this REALLY cool map but i can't play it because the guy who made it didn't protect it right so you can't play the map because right after you dl the map it kicks you from the game. Is there a way i can fix it cuz i REAALLLY want to play the map.

It could be because the map doesn't support your version of Warcraft 3.
Try to contact the guy and ask him what version he used to make the map.
