I think the purpose of the cd key is that it cannot be seen in the computer world. Think you need to find your Wc3 cd-rom package containing the manual with the cd-key glued on.
Well, you could probably hack it or something (like having super awesome sense of where your cd-key location is in the .exe file (if it even exists there)).
PS: The registry file only contains configuration for warcraft3 but not the cd-key.
The registry was stored in a encrypted mpq file in Warcraft folder. I dunno what mpq file exactly but its there somewhere but not in the registry thingy.
