ok, of lately my maps are not being finished since i'm a lazy bum and since school is a faggotry made manifest.
anyways, i hope i can finish this project since it's not really a complex project.
Much of it's ideas are taken from Warhammer 40k Tabletop, and Dawn of War, but it's set in medieval times.
Fields of War
Objective: Basically there are 2 teams, Humans and Orks (Green Tide?). The map's an altered melee so basically you just build units and kill the other team.
Resources: I haven't really decided on how i'll make resources accessible, either through Strategic Points or Goldmines, or a combo of both.
Heroes: There are 4 heroes for each race, and each one of them are upgradeable in their own unique way.
For example, the Human's main hero, the Company Captain can have his equipment upgraded so he is much more powerful in combat. Almost all upgrades can be seen on the model itself. Some examples of upgrades are switching out his regular sword for a Mjolnir Hammer or a Primarch's Blade.
Another example is the Human's late tier hero, the Dreadnought. Once the dreadnought reaches lvl 6, he can get the Venerable Status ability, upgrading him to a much more powerful unit, with permanently enhanced abilities, stats, and 2 new abilities.
Units: Fairly simple, the units are people that your heroes lead. Some units may have triggered abilities, such as the Legionnaire, the humans first tier melee unit. It can be upgraded to have the Block Ability, giving it a chance to completely block an attack from certain enemy types.
Races: There are two races, Humans and Orks. More specifically, Human Legions and possibly the Green Tide.
The Legions are like Space Marines from warhammer40k, having the best armor weapons and units among the empire.
The Green Tide is, well pretty much all the races that have greenskin put together. So, Orks, Trolls, and Goblins. This leads to quite abit of variety in the techtree, ranging from Goblin Tanks to Troll Berserkas.
It's a one man project, although model donations are appreciated
