There are few orcs in the ranks of the Fel Horde who have drawn worse fate than the Fel Orc-Savages.
Fel Orc warriors who become too haughty and arrogant quickly find themselves again as this degenerate and mutated brood.
Another large dose of Felmagic mutated these beasts in such a way that spikes sprout uncontrollably from them and they are fused with their weapons and armor which themselves mutate through the devil magic and partially begin to glow..
This fate is mostly used as punishment by the Heresiarches and the other demonic lords of the Fel Horde.
Capable of hardly any other thought than killing, these once proud warriors are transported on chains to the battlefield and there simply driven in the direction of the enemy.
Should he survive the bloodbath, he will be put back in chains (otherwise he would also attack his former orc brothers)
and then imprisoned again in the depths of the Black Fortresses until he can be useful in the next slaughter.
Update, 11/11: I noticed a bug with the portrait camera. I fixed it quickly.
And I'll add a Skull_Emmissive alternative, because so many people are bothered by the green glow of the dragon skull. Just replace it and the skull is even more dead than dead. ^^
Of course, I'll also add new, matching icons.
Update, November 15th: I think it's funny how nobody noticed that the skeleton was completely missing. xD
I put it back in and uploaded the second model that I promised. Hope this is a reasonable alternative for you.
Approved. Brutal model, as always the fel orc army on Hive is ever growing in numbers!
Optional fixes:
Troll scream SND on spell animation might not be needed to be honest.
Teamcolor is perhaps a little lacking because of his posture. It could be...
I miss the wolverine hair too but I think dragon head on the shoulder looks overkill, I'd go with something smaller or nothing at all. It even has got emissive maps so it looks like an 'alive' undead dragon on top of the orc.
COOL! Well the first time I saw this preview I thought he has a frostwyrm head lol, do want that funny hairstyle back, I remember that Daelin’s hair model will be a good replacement, you just need to delete top parts.

First of all: Thanks for all the positive feedback on the model!
And secondly: What have you all got with that goofy clownshair? xD
I have a derivative planned which:
a .: Exchanging the dragon skull for something else and
b .: IMITATES the hairstyle in a different way! I don't do a clown, so that'll be clear. ^^
I'm just having problems with my Battlenet ... something is wrong with the download manager and it shoots up all my programs. When I get that right, I'll work on a "Fel Orc - Savage 2.0".
Personally, I was mostly joking. It's just a memorable part of the old model, though I think it was supposed to look like Wolverine rather than a clown. Speaking of Wolverine, I suppose you flipped the claws around to an angle more like swords because that presents a better cutting surface?

I've already understood that, I'm not entirely free of fun either. ^^
I also think that the developers at the time let Wolverine optical influence flow into it.
And your guess is correct. Yes, if the blades were curved inwards, they would have a stronger penetration but with the muscle mass and insanity of this unit... I didn't thought to worry about that. With the angle, the blades have a longer and more flowing cutting surface and thus cut deeper / wider wounds. 👍
🔨 Hive's 3D Viewer has been updated! 🔨 It now supports MDX1100 which should fix a lot of issues when viewing HD models in our 3D Viewer. We encourage you to check it out for yourself and report any issues you find in the Site Discussion board.
