Faerie Fire Autocast/Manual Cast

Is it possible to make Faerie Fire have longer cast range if it was being manually cast by the player while having it autocast has less range?

What do you mean? There's only one casting range at the Faerie Fire ability.

It´s impossible, you could make a trigger spell that when you manually cast it create a dummy which spawns at target point and casts faerie fire on the target but then you gotta order your caster to stop otherwise he will attempt to move to range.
