[Trigger] Faded doodad

I've seen lots of screens of this, so i thought i'd try it out. The thing is, i can't find anything on it. I've searched, looked through systems and tutorials, even checked on wc3c. So any hints are appriciated.

Also, not that it is important, but would it be possible in GUI?

You mean a doodad which is slightly transparent? I'd do it with a unit with the locust ability, and make the unit transparent.

Yeah, thats it, also make it invulnerable, just in case.

I meant something like this Tree Fade System - Wc3campaigns.
But it seems that it requires some kind of model edit.

why dont you use invisibility with a long fade time?
