Hello all!

Im trying to import all of my custom models into a brand new map, is there a way to have the custom paths the same as i had it on my previous map? itll be a huge pain to have to type it the custom path again for every single model that i have? :S

Any help is much appreciated!

Yes it is possible. :)

First, download JNGP:

  • Make back-ups of your maps (in case anything goes wrong).
  • Make a new folder somewhere on your hard drive. Name it whatever you like. I'll name it "Exports".
  • Open your original map in NewGen WE (open NewGen WE.exe, and then File -> Open).
  • In the toolbar, go to Extensions -> Export Files
  • Select the folder you made as the directory (in my case "Exports").
  • If you open the "Exports" folder, you should see your imported files (along with some subfolders e.g. war3mapImported)
  • Open up the map you want to transfer the imports to. Go to Extensions -> Import Directory and find the "Exports" folder. Don't choose that folder though. Instead, select the "Imports" subfolder (it should be inside the "Exports" folder), and then click "OK". It should save your map for you, do not save. Just close your map.
  • Close WE and then reopen it. Open your map and you should have all the imports there!

Good luck!

P.S. You can feel free to delete the "Exports" folder once you're done with it.
