For those who don't know what it is.

http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugenetica

For those who can't be arsed to read it; you have two sides of Eugenatica, I believe, one includes killing off production of the weak people, with disease, blindness, being deaf, by sterilizing them. This is called negative eugenatica.
Positive eugenatica is like that intellectuals, scientists and etc put their sperm on a special sperma bank so that more succesful children are born.
Basically, it's trying to 'upgrade' the human race. Correct me if I'm wrong,

What do you think of eugenatica? Is negative eugenatica needed to prevent starvation and world hunger, or would that be completely inhuman?
And what about positive eugenatica? An intellectual sperma bank, any bad sides of it? I'd love to hear your opinions about this topic.

One of the main problems I see with positive Eugenatica is people swaying it away from what it should be, and instead trying to turn their children into exact copies of celebrities or trying something like breeding girls to look attractive. Theres too many wrong reasons to do it to justify positive Eugenatica.

Also, no matter how close someones genes are to someone else (even a clone), that doesn't insure they'll become the same person - so just because you have the genes to be intelligent doesn't mean your going to become very intelligent.

Talents are overrated. A person's intelligence is pretty random, believe it or not.

Genetics have some effect, but it's not like your children turn into copies of you.
