Error message for custom race?

I created a new race that is the only selectable one, but the supply icon is the default blue and the error messages just print out the path of the message for the race. Where do I change that?

The icons are modified via the UI. You can specify UI links using a custom assets file.

Error messages seem to be under Alerts and Conversations (Generic Phrases).

No idea how Generic Phrases works though.
