Erase! Delete! Remove! (does it make the map smaller?)

Let's assume that I create a new map. Then I replace all internal sounds with a .wav file which lasts 0.01 seconds and is absolute silence. Then I replace all the models of the units with the Green Error Cube. Then again I set all their statistics and their parameters to 0 or 1. After that I remove all the abilities from all the units and all the items, I annihilate the effects of the spells, I erase all the names. In the end, only after all this total annihilation, I start creating my custom units, my custom triggers, all my map. Will its size be smaller?

w... what?

No...

It'll be bigger than you can imagine. All those internal sounds, models, unit stats of the default units are in your game's MPQ files (stored in your warcraft 3 folder), they're not stored inside your map archive. Your map archive only contains custom unit data, custom terrains, etc.

Edit existing ones, I suppose.

But that is just a matter of 0.5 kb if not smaller.
