WTF? Who's this guy?

Everybody who played WoW until Cataclysm as Alliance did Dead mines Dungeon, there you must fight at the end the mastermind of the Defias Bandits of Stormwind, a couple of people what didn't get they money after finish the reconstruction of the city; that mastermind was the architect, Edwin VanCleef! Now as model for you! :D

Why I did this model?
He was a requested model for a lot of Deadmines map (a few years ago xDu) and I didn't found a model for him, so I did my own. I practice a lot of UVMap (one of my worst skills right now) to do this model close to his look without custom texture. The result was decent enough to share. Therefore it practiced pick-geoset for other models and use with thisone (paladin's head). If you have any suggest please share with me, I'm open to critics to improve my skills :) thank you so much! I have archived this lvl of skill due your continous push forward and support guys!

UPDATES
13/10/2016: Add portrait, custom swords and handle. Removed Morph animations, remind "morph" only because looks good and can be usefull when he cast windwalk or something like that (?), therefore I removed stand 3 (where he stand in one feet) because is a weird possition for this model. Any tip to improve it just let me know <3

13/10/2016: Face and scarf full edited. Swords edited (to looks like image below); portrait updated. I just leave the display picture of the old model because it looks cool and I'm tired xD tomorrow I'll update a new one with the updates and "art" xd for now only one in gray for mdlvis. ty JesusHipster and Aleister for continuous support and push forward to improve :') I have learnd a lot today! ty guys!

Looks nice, and works well in-game. A few issues though: In death animation, he leaves one of the scimitars on the ground, yet another appears at his hand, ending up with 3 swords! I doubt it is a magic trick, it's rather a glitch with visibility...

In all seriousness, fantastic work. This will be extremely useful! I'm so happy the bandits of Azeroth finally have a proper leader.

Oh, and this goes without saying but those Demon Form animations have to go.

Definitely, this is your best resource.

While it is true, the uvmap is not "perfect", but keep in mind that you chose a difficult texture, therefore, the adaptation is quite acceptable.

I wish to give you the five-star, but I know you can improve it more, like work more in their weapons, so I'll give you a four-star rating, just for now.

Keep practicing buddy!

Ps: If you want, I can help you with the removal of the alternate version and the model's optimization; don't worry, I'm an expert at it, so I will not harm the model. ;)

It's a good start indeed. but right now the model has unnecessary and glitchy alternate animations and a horribly looking abomination head for a face. And no -real- portrait. I'd also advice you to try and re-do several segments of body wrap and create proper handles for his weapons.

Keep working and very soon you will have an excellent and much needed model.[/size]

While I've tired of Demon Hunter animations, it fits this guy well, and everything else seems to be in order & pretty cool. Nice textures, great (unique) face, cool simple swords, Hero Glow in all the right places... Noice. 4/5

JesusHipster pushed me forward to improve the face. Before his advice he looks like horrible with blurry texture. The pic with the ship is before custom face.

If you have any suggest to improve it just let me know. I'm working a lot in my worst skill (warp) right now o7
 
Looks nice, and works well in-game. A few issues though:

  • The hero glow is glitching very frequently. It probably changes of size many times during animations. I'd recommend you to set his scaling to a global animation, so it isn't interrupted by another animation playing.
  • You may improve the wrap further. The rear of the cape has some glitched faces, and the white part of the boots produce a hard seam. with the trousers.
Required fix to approval is the first one. But please keep on improving it. It's already a nice asset. :)

Swords need to be resized as the Cruel Bard isn't that big and the notch is wider also the off hand needs to have no notch in it also new death animation as the self stab is bad, hair needs to be redone and the mask needs to be more red and less like a leather mask since it's linen clothe. But over all greatly wanted Edwin VanCleef is the whole reason why I made a rogue in the first place on World of Warcraft, also would like a Vanessa VanCleef model but slightly more based off of the High Elf/Blood Elf Arcane/Mage Huntress model also don't use the Demon Hunter spell animations for this model change them up a bit and keep in mind Edwin doesn't wield his off hand sword that allows the off hand attack animation. Still is a great model much love for it :D

Kang, I need to fix a lot of stuffs with this one to be approved. I don't know how to do most of them like the glitched sword or resize. If you can edit this go ahead. We all deserve a good vancleef in game bro and I know you can do it :D
I think he already look nice already the mesh... i suggest just fix some of his texture like his hair and hq sword texture... u can get some refrence from the attrachment mod list in hive...
i wont... dont worried i like people original work...
