Works perfect for my Dwarven Kingdom! I noticed there is a lack of team color, but it's fine for my uses. \o/

Edit: however i am currently not really sure how to do that, ill look into it
Hmm, trying to figure it out, im attaching a picture, im not sure this is right, or is it? im not sure exactly what im supposed to be changing lol, i feel like the whole shield is gonna go team colored and i dont think that would look overly good, having the wood part turn though would be great, hmmm, mind explaining a little more please mr ogre man lolShield and pauldrons should be TC, yeah. To edit the TC, go to the ORM texture and edit the alpha channel (don't remember right now if alpha meant TC or viceversa, though). The diffuse texture is left untouched.
You need to edit the alpha (transparency) where you want it to be Teamcoloured. So, not on the metal part of the shoulderpads, but the leather only. The shield could have some TC on the white spike of the centre, for example.
I'm really loving your models, btw. A white bear version would also be awesome (but since the UV maps are different in each model, I guess you'd have to change the textures...) I'm getting a lot of Heroes of Might and Magic vibes from these ones.
ok am i needing a program to do this? lol, i was playing in the mdl text file when i did that, so im thinking thats not where i need to be lol. I have just been using reteras studio so im not sure where i need to be to do that lol
and thanks, i am gonna attempt a white bear rider version too, and im also currently attempting a dwarven mage, a little caster unit to join the crew lol, doing all this in between a campaign me and friend are doing, creating 2 factions for it, might pre release a unit or two and a building too for each of the factions lol
lol thanks i am working on that.A TC model of this will be a stample in all custom games with dwarves in it lol Good job!!!
ah i see so it is the diffuse after all lol, done alot of diffuses for our factions here, havent had to add team color, tried to remove this from diffuses, but not sure how that works either, however i figured out a different way to have the team color parts use whats on diffuse instead of being team colored, so i guess now i gotta find out how to add it there now, i read in some places here it is the transparency? add some layer and do something, i dont know lol ill figure that out.Photoshop or Gimp (free alternative) do the trick just fine. But I see that you didn't use custom textures, so the easiest solution is to just add new pauldrons that already have TC.
lol thanks i am working on that.

i can change out some stuff for tc parts then, i will take a look at some suitable replacements lol
thats what i meant lol, dds stuff and thier names xDNo, it's not the diffuse layer, it's the transparency in the ORM layer.
@Archaos The shield is missing the TC part, animation ''Attack 2''
I also noticed that there is no sound played (Tried with Rifleman and Mountain King) unless its the dying sound, but it might be a problem of mine.
Hey there
I've tried out all the Dwarven footman variation and I really enjoyed that one as well as some of the others.
I'll likely be using this one as some kind of "honorific" warrior or "religion / rune defender" of something.
Their plumage really give them this "honor" vibe.
Great model, thank you very much
EDIT: The teamcolouring on the Shield is funny imho and should maybe be wrapped into the shield wood instead (but obviously not plain teamcoloured). IDK, what I'm sayin' might look worse in the end. But it's great as it is in any case!
Sounds way more interesting than recolouring a Shield, looking forward to that!Got some other things on the go, and a new dwarf hero is nearing completionheh heh
