Those are 2d plane models(bilboarded) with star textures on them.

That's beautiful. I really like the low saturation effect, and so does the blurry feel. So you achieved that only by models and in-game masks, no "post-production"?

I don't like the actual suns. Not sure how to change it, but I feel like lowering them, and making them solid light rather than the current rings I can see.

Overall it's good work. The landscape is good, although nothing stands out there. The sky is really great and the glow on the horizon looks really good.
