Does Item Group Effect the item at all?

Hi There,

I need to know if the group an item is assigned (EG: Purchasable, Permanent, Charged, etc) effect the item in any way or is it just for world editor use only?

It only for World editor.
So you know what type of item it is, so you can find it faster
