Does Flame Strikes stack?

sry if I posted in the wrong forum, but this seems to be correct forum.

2 caster does cast flame strike on a same spot. Does the damage from 2 flame strikes in a same area stack? I Tried to test it and got strange and unsure results (I didn't get confirmed if they stack or not, but also I might have done something wrong). I have get sure why...

the initiall damage will work together, but the damage per second will cancel one of the 2 casted.

I thought there was something weird there. The initial damage is applied, but the damage pr second do not stack, right? Only the highest will apply, or the one which is cast latest?
