I'm guessing either players start with a Trainer and a In-Training/Rookie Digimon, a Trainer with the ability to catch more than one Digimon (Pokemon style), or starts as a Rookie Digimon...

yes it is my map project you begin with a rookie digimon choosen from 20+ familiy
