Introduction
My favorite game is Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. I have played every aspect of it from defeating all modes in all difficulties, earning hundreds of high runes to defeating the Ubers and Diablo Clone. I play the game hours each day; my life has been pretty much stripped away. It took me a wakeup call to realize that I needed to stop playing this game. It was too addicting. I gave all my accounts (7 total because I couldn’t fit all my items) to a friend and it’s the end of story.

I seeked out a less addicting game to fill out the gap of my soul, I found WarCraft 3:TFT. I play WarCraft 3: The Frozen Throne casually every few days. It’s a fun game and it’s a way of not letting my gaming interest fade away. I tried and played over 5 Diablo maps but none of them were of quality. The best one I played was Diablo Duels v4.5. It was unbalanced, the tooltips were wrong; there wasn’t a theme to it. It was only a Diablo 2 map with default Warcraft 3 units / spells. The spells for each heroes were even wrong (since when did an assassin have the “Kiss of Death” ability?).

After creating 3 maps to completion (Project Golemz, Evolves, World of Warcraft: Shadows of War) and 1 map halfway done (TBA) I decided to create my own Diablo Duels map. I have improved all tooltips, spells, characters, enemy minions bosses so that it actually looks and feels like the real game. On top of that I decided the most exciting aspect of playing Diablo 2, in which most people in the real game cannot achieve unless they have played it for at least 40+ hours (it takes about 200+ hours if you don’t get any help from anyone); Diablo Clone Hunting.

Gameplay
Systems, mechanics and more!

6 Factions
There are 6 total factions that will each be occupied by 2 players.

7 Heroes

There are 7 accurately resembling heroes; Amazon, Assasin, Druid, Barbarian, Necromancer, Paladin , Sorceress. They each have their own unique style of playing.

One Goal
Since there are 6 factions of 2 players, that totals to 12 players; which gives a partner effect feeling as they both closely work together to achieve the ultimate prize, to win the Annihilus Small Charm.

Winning the Annihilus
Win the Annihilus item by defeating the Diablo Clone.

Preparing for the Diablo Clone
First you have to prepare yourself to defeat the diablo clone! Gain levels, obtain rare, set and unique items! Note that other players can make or hinder your progress!

Fighting the Diablo Clone
To fight the Diablo Clone, players in the game must sell between 50 and 75 Stone of Jordan Rings (SOJ).

Earning SOJs

Earn SOJ’s by earning a certain amount of hero kills. An SOJ is a VERY powerful item, which means you have a choice to keep it and earn more SOJ and then use the excess to be sold.

Defeat the Diablo Clone (DC)

Once 50-75 SOJ’s have been sold, Diablo will spawn at a random location in the map.
More Details and Pictures will be given later.
Have fun DC Hunting!

If you're after a more close representation of Diablo 2 give the link to my diablo 2 map a look.

This map looks interesting but the terrain could use a bit more detail/atmosphere. The rogue encampment should have huts or tents rather than imported houses I'd say, although the burial grounds look quite nice.

I would have thought uber trist'ing is much more fun that diablo clone hunting myself... but it's personal opinion I guess.
