Looks cool. Hmmm, I'd choose a multi-copied reflective surface of the already existing warpgate of war3 for it's inside... that is, unless you can really recreate that watery-glowy effect from the real stargate. But methinks that'd be hard, no?

thanks guys this was actually my first model that is released on this site. im just now learning the basics of the animation aspects of gmax and soccer season is ending so very soon ill get to work on redoing a new Stargate model so the DHD has something to work with.

This dhd is awesome!!!!! one of the most acurate models i've ever seen of anything. some dialing animations would be nice, but that doesn't matter. I can't wait for the Stargate!

A little help for the Dialing Animation

P.S. In the movey the wormhole established effect was first done by puting a pool ontop of a jet engine

The Animation was so hard to reproduce by the SGI team, that this metod was used in the entire first season

So Good luck and brake a leg, its not going to be easy.
