Desert Terrain Help

Greetings all Terrain Makers, masters and novices.
I am making a desert themed campaign and I want to have a look at some good looking desert-ish terrains to see what has been already done and how it has been done. So, kindly please point me to some terrains (or even maps) of such nature ( barrens, badlands, outland, desert). The terrains can be on hiveworkshop or other warcraft 3 sites. (need not be an english site)

Also, if you have some of your own ideas about fog and lighting techniques for a desert type terrain then please share and if possible add screenshots.

I am in the alpha development of my project so I don't have any screenshots to show as of now. Currently I am making systems and balancing units and other tech stuff.

There are a few nice looking playable desert terrains here I don't know if that is the style you are looking for. I'll update if and when I come across more.

And the always classic Plains of sand Although these are actual terrains rather than playable terrain, hopefully you can pull some inspiration.

It's actually hard to find terrains that fit your theme. There aren't really many western themed maps. So kudos for the idea. (I was going to suggest looking at APproject's map Seth's Reign until I saw your map wasn't that sort of desert.)

I had never seen this one before. Interesting indeed.
Learned quite a few doodad placement tricks from the screenshots.

There are a few nice looking playable desert terrains here I don't know if that is the style you are looking for. I'll update if and when I come across more.

I am not looking for a particular style in general but for techniques and ideas.

Yes, its more of western meets medieval setting.

There's also this terrain by elredir, which I absolutely love.
If only the backdrop was slightly less EOTW-ish it'd be one
of my favorite terrains all time.

Can you please share with me fog configuration and the tile-sets used.
