He kinda solved the critical problems I might say. Since the rating system is gone, Vexorian is back. And moreover, I have become spell moderator with full control, so I can watch the resources as well. This was the biggest problem, since with Vex gone, the spells section was in grave danger, with no moderator to control it.

Moreover he added more sections to avoid the flood which already started to spread in the site discussions thread. And more moderators will greatly increase the protection of the site from noobs and spammers.

Well, it would be hard to choose. I'm not that skilled at iconing, and i'm starting to make skins as soon as I have my real computer.

And if Darky asked me to be moderator, there would be 90% for me to refuse, I don't think I can handle it, but "law" is a thing that never goes out of my mind (thats the 10% chance to acept).

To become a map mods, you should have great skills especially at mapmaking, and experience at making various genre of map. So, he can handle most part of mapmaking for any genre(cinematic, RPG, AOS, Campaign, Mini & Unique Game, etc)

For your comment itself, the person that is promoted to moderator doesn't need to a person that has been on the site for awhile; if that person is good at iconing, skinning, etc and has 250 posts or so, I don't think it would be because of the number of posts that the member would not be promoted. No. I was just replying to Leopard's last post. I said that terrain and triggers are no problem for me. AND? It's kinda pointless.
And some person (i can't remember who) just said "ah you post too much! you want to have your name always at the top thats it?" << or something like this and I said "No. (i like to answer with this no) I reply because I want, not to get 100000000 posts and be moderator. A member can have 10000000 posts and be useless, while other can have about 100 posts and be a very good skinner or modeller (or all that history that you know).

-I've Put up Skinning tutorials.

-I have put up a couple of my skins and I am working on a bunch of models and skins that I will submit sometime soon.
-I obey the rules.
-I am active.
-I give realy good comments.

I'm not sure about juice_f's activeness...icons that are not with the rules are being submited madly...

I agree, it should be about how long you've been here, and how you treat others as well as handle situations. Just as an Example, daveman, is very nice and could be a mod just like anyone else around here.

As far as I can see, there are no qualifying members to be mods, aside for a select few whom I will not name.

The first thing I will say however, is that anyone who has the nerve to say "I should be a moderator" will never ever be chosen by me to be a moderator.

The other standard which is just as important as all other standards mentioned here (such as being helpful, using proper grammar and spelling, being ective etc.) is that you can not have any previous warnings and/or bans, no matter how long ago that was. Rulebreakers do not become rule enforcers, so if it is up to me anyone who has had/has a bad record of behaviour on this site will not be a moderator.

Of course none of these conditions will ever apply since I'm not really considered an important member of this site's staff team anymore.

EDIT: Oh, I left out one very important qualification; your level of maturity. If you act like you are able to handle a moderating position and not either give immature jokes or posts than you are open to a moderating position on my standards (of course you still must have the qualifications above^^).

I never mentioned anything about having a sense of humor, I said level of maturity. I don't care if the moderator is funny or not, if it is in a good way then there is no problem. However, if the person posts immature topics (such as a certain topic in the Off-Topic forum where a user tried to say he is not spamming by showing that he is spamming) then they are not up to standards.

And Mecheon, Nantuko_Husk is partially right. This site has a lot of users, and if Darky wants to keep it around then he should be taking care of it at the same time. You are right that he really doesn't have to, and, in fact, he's the one doing us a favor by paying for the site, there still is an obligation of common courtesy to take care of it. The least he could do which I'm sure would make everyone happy would be to appoint someone to take over his position when he knows he will be inactive.

Nantuko_Husk is also correct about the icons section. The state it is in right now is inacceptable, and something should be done about it. How it will happen though, is another story altogether. Even if we've had bad staff members in the staff previously that should not hold us back from continuing to keep the site in good condition.

You know the reason you should be happy with what you get? Because you should be THANKFUL that you get it. Would you rather than I and every other moderator become elitist assholes and don't give help? Would you rather that no moderators existed?

It is my humble opinion that every person takes things for granted and is ungrateful, even I am. And you are showing this quite well by saying that you'll try to make things better when they're actually pretty ok at the time, and expecting someone else to basically do something for you
