The other day I was bored and messing around with my Warcraft III Editor, I had uploaded a bunch of models from the Hive to preview their animations and detail, when I decided to upload Red Shift's Stormtrooper skin to my map as well.
I already had uploaded Cavman's Worgen Footman model to my map already, I saved and quit, and re-opened my editor to find that the skin of the Worgen footman had changed!
The normal footman armor had been replaced by the Stormtooper’s skin, including the skull shield;
(Forgive the crappy screenshot, it was a bit short notice.)
Although the skin wasn't perfect on Worgen Footman model, like the shoulder pads, I have to admit it looks pretty cool.
I myself have no real in-depth knowledge related to skinning other then knowing what I like and dislike in a skin, but I surmise by replacing the Footman skin with a new one, it also replaced the same skin used for elements of the Worgen Footman, but its just a hunch...
So what do you guys think?
Regards,
Jake
EDIT: Sorry for putting this in the off topic section. Since this had to do with both a model and skin I figured it would get moved from the Models/Skinning sections anyway.
