Dante's Inferno

Well I heard a song by Iced Earth based around the epic poem and i'm certainly thinking about reading it. Just wondering if anyone here has read it or any of the other parts. If you have what did you think of it? Are they worth reading (i'm sure they are, but anyway) just any more general info about it would be great thanks.

Yes, I have read most of his poems, and I think they are rather good. Keep in mind of when they were written and they become even better. If you need help with any of the symbology or anything let me know.

Yes, thats what Dante's Inferno is about, Dante's experience visiting hell. Thats what the 'inferno' is.

Yes, yes. I remember now. The Greeks at the first level and such. He even answered the question of, weather hell is freezing ice or burning fires.

Yes idneed and thats what I intend to read It actually sounds to be very religiously fullfilling, and as long as it holds my attention while i'm learning something, why not?
