Imported Triggers = No
Imported Lightning Effects = I think so
Imported Lightning Effects are made like models, but in different way of course, I think.

Can you tell me how to use them in spells? I know about using imported models etc. but I there is no field for using imported things when you are choosing lightning effect for a spell.

It is possible... You have to work with some SLK (Lightning or something) and you have to change the skin. Here is the tutorial from wc3campaigns which explains it accurately:
