corrupted .w3x file... please help!

hi,
i have struck bad luck with a map ive been making for almost a year. Half way through saving my map my computer lost all power. I now have a corrupted throzen throne map file which the world editor nor an mpq archiver can open.
My last backup unfortunately backdates to january of this year -

My question : can i somehow extract the trigger file?

My backup contains everything else i need as the triggers were the only things changed.

Would be much appreciated if any1 could help!

Uh, if you can't open it with an MPQ-Archiver, the file is lost, sadly. If I'm wrong, plz correct me.

I don't think you are wrong, Darkshadow. if the trigger data is corrupted and if you cant extract/delete it, the file is lost, yes. :?
