Copying variables....?

Ok im trying to get EZ saveload code 5 remake into my map but i cant seem to copy past the variables....ragingspeedhorn said something about unchecking a box that when checked (or unchecked not quite sure lol) lets you when copying triggers to copy variables to......any ideas on how to copy variables...oor abiut that checking box.... :?:

Files => preferences => general, then somewhere beneath u can uncheck/check the box
