copy&paste terrain

if I want copy&paste terrain, is there a way to change its direction

EDIT: Select your terrain, press ctrl+c then ctrl+v then go to Edit and rotate.

Selecting your terrain is without having any box checked in the Terrain Palette.

Also keep in mind that this only copies the things like Dirt, Grass, Marble, etc. Cliffs and such things are not copied.

Cliffs and such things are copied !!!
Everything from tiles to deep water and cliffs is copied.

I had similar problem, and i didnt find any solution like rotation 90 degrees.
I had to remake it. Hit 2 times "G" for middle grid, and then just "turn" it by yourself. - sorry

They are? Why doesn't it copy with me then?

I wouldn't advise "copying" terrain unless you plan to keep it like that forever. It messes up the terrain height, and bugs with Rise/Lower tools, I believe.
