I'm working on a campaign and just want to copy and paste terrain from one map to another, but for some reason it always crashes. All I want is to copy some terrain from the Undead Realm Eternal mission into my campaign, man, and that's it, but it always crashes.

Possibly as simple as turning grid display off, or:

If you are on the latest patch (not the latest patch, but 1.31 minimum), there's a feature in World Editor where you can save your own map as a folder.

If I'm not mistaken, the "war3map.w3e" file stores an existing map terrain data. You'll want that item.

Optionally, you can also replace both "war3map.doo" and "war3mapUnits.doo". Those were required if you want to place all doodads and units from the existing maps.

You can export/import everything besides the terrain, like object data and triggers that can be done through World Editor. But I would recommend relying on map folder in case you don't want to use the World Editor.

Other than that, please do what A]mun suggested.
