Hi, I have a quick question: Can you detect if a computer player is easy, normal or insane?

yes, you can. DotA 1 AI knows its difficulty and changes accordingly.
how exactly, i don't know. probably detects a player name, but i could be wrong.

There is a condition for that, but its name might mislead you.It is under Conditions->Melee AI Comparasion.

• (Melee AI of Player 1 (Red)) Equal to Normal AI

It actually checks the diffuculty of computer.
