Circleridge Bluffs

On top of four mesas arranged in a circular pattern lie civilizations ready to thrive. Despite the creeps and the dangers that lie in the valleys below, their biggest obtstacle is each other.

Rui's review on "Circleridge Bluffs" (by XShortGuy)

A somewhat symmetrical melee map. The structure of the terrain is well made.
The major downside is that you did horribly on ground texture variation. I was about to write the same for elevation, but that would be false because you didn't use elevation tools at all. That's a minus, if anyone has doubts.

The lack of doodads is also noticeable. Adding to the untextured landscape, your map couldn't be emptier than this.
It's a pity, really. The Lordaeron Summer tileset can look very beautiful when used well.

Next point, the creeps.
The creep choice was not the best, especially at the expansion Gold Mines where you mixed two Gnoll Overseers.
The drops were averagely well set. They were a little more powerful than they should.

The neutral buildings were OK. Lots of expansion Gold Mines, and a few Goblin Laboratories to help, plus the Tavern in the middle.

My rating for this map is a 3/5 (Useful). The map remains Approved.
