What the... It´s awesome, especially the light and shadow
effect, quite natural - first wondered if it is a new game.
But I would add a bit more vegetation, height variation
and some more living things like birds and critters.

It looks nice but needs a lot of work imo. Its plain it needs a bit more height variation and its a forest right? if never seen a forest without animals :p so make som critters like racoons or somthing. Besides that i think it looks nice and could become legendary one day.

Edit: remins me a bit of Fable the lost chapters in som way (a favorite game of me)

I think its ok because its playable, but if u hadn't used this realy cool models u would have been flamed like hell because of the lack of doodads.
U should also try to variate your texture because u just use grass, dirt or cliff.
Oh and add an eye catcher, because trees and grass soon got boring and uninteresting.

I love the music in the video.
Well the game looks pretty good in that shot, but it more or less just stems from the really good resources you had found for that (like the attack sounds, the tileset, the trees - man thats some of the best looking tree models I've ever seen in wc3).

But yeah, this lacks a lot of doodads - the forest floor isn't that clear, it's got tall grass, undergrowth, etc. etc. - right now it's just trees and no other flora - fill it in some more and you've got some pretty good looking terrain.

Also not your fault, but with how realistic a lot of that looks the lack of good shadows bothers me.

Also there's something awkward about that hero models walk animation - it kinda looks like he has to use the bathroom

I do have to question how you got the terrain height to vary so much - the normal WE only allows so much variation - is that part of that editor on the page you linked? (though absolutely no one has any clue what is says atm).

About your camera - your going to want it to adjust so it doesn't get lost behind things (like the house at one part) - it's an easy enough fix if you check for pathing or pathing blockers.

Hmm, one thing, massing and spamming grass/flower doodads doesn't make a beautiful terrain...
Beautiful terrains can even be completely plain, flat, etc. whatever you want. The most important point is : TILES USED. Why would I mass grass and spam flowers to make an "awesome" terrain?
This terrain looks good, imo. Great use of great models...
