Map Info


We all know that everyone in this world wants riches unspeakable even by man. Thats why our heroes are here. A party of travelers journey into a castle of an old, forgotten king who ruled his kingdom with an iron fist. So brutal, you could even call him Chaos itself. Our party of travelers journeyed into the very bowels of the castle. There, unlimited riches, which stretched as the eye could see was seen by the party. Greed filled these travelers. A greed so enormous, it even awoke the spirit of the fallen king himself.




The king awoke. He filled these travelers in bitter greed that only the humble could resist. In order to lift his curse and escape with the riches, the king trapped these travelers in an unwinding arena, wherein the strongest and the last standing must kill his own allies or Chaos itself to escape the dungeon and fill their lives with riches the world could not imagine.

This is the beta map of Chaos Arena, its protected due to certain reasons.

How does the version works?
Every updates or let say major updates will go on a series:

The next version that I'll upload will be the Chaos Arena: The Awakening of the Greed King.
This version will be the introduction of Chaos Arena

Also, I see you prefer skins because of models due to filesize.

WRONG SIR! Unless you lower the quality of skins, models would always be lighter.
I would suggest you pick those models 99 KB below. Those which use ingame textures are mostly light, like -Grendels.

Your workshop also accepting item ideas? I'll post my request there.

About the skins, well I'm using hq skins but also with low filesize. examples are the skins I used on the neutral creeps, very high quality with less than 90kb. :psmile:

Even though im not HammerFist, I would suggest you use 67chrome's skin.
He is one of the best 2D Artists here, so pick it.
Also, the first one looks ugly, especially the face.

I think I'll just add 4 or 5 items from the suggested ideas then I'll release the version 1.1 on the map section then I'll just add the other items and hero per version

Item suggestion

I have idea for item for your map. I have seen here some simple items so you can make some easy triggered items like:

Piercing Blade

Level 1: Each attack will decrease enemy armor for 1.Up to 5 stacks last 7 seconds

Level 2: Each attack will decrease enemy armor for 2.Up to 5 stacks last 8 seconds

Level 3: Each attack will decrease enemy armor for 3.Up to 5 stacks last 9 seconds
(sry for. Icons idea for it are from dota so ulty ''coup de grace'' and item what decrease 6 armor, if you cannot find then just ask and i will make it for you for sec :D) Sry if something is not balanced

Now suggestions for spell

Sap(like from wow)

Strike unit from BEHIND and unit will be stuned for 7/10/14 seconds or untils takes damage.

Okay here it is, I tried this on garena 1on1, and my enemy said that this was a good map and fun to play, but he said that the fighting area is way to big for a arena map so players takes time to find each other, so he suggested to make creeps spawn for each force, do you think its a good idea this means I'll switch to AoS which is fine for me, I already made the triggers on it, and its ready to go. But we find a huge bug on the life bar and I'm still looking on triggers of it.

Well bigger is always better. It would appear smaller if there were more players.

So what do you think about the spawning of creeps? Are they alright? they just spawn every 45 seconds for farming, and just to let you know I'm not gonna put any tower to defend you and the castle.

My suggestion is to creeps can be enabled by game mod, and to map size automatic be smaller if here is lessernumber of players. Make terrain in leyers 5 leyers one for 5v5 one for 4v4 etc. Like create pathing blockers if etc or some othrer way

Oh nice idea about the creep spawn.

But on the terrain. Are you Fking kidding me? The whole arena is made up of 9000 doodads. That will kill me if I'll make more arena. And I'm trying not to exceed the doodads limits since I don't want to use JNGP(since testing the map will be pain in the ass).

Hero name: Magma Keeper
Hero description: Giant creatures made of magma and stone, who serve Deathwing. Huge in size and powerful creatures, they crush and burn everything. Very strong warriors, but low inteligence and agility.

maybe some sugestions for ninja. His main atribute is agility so it cannot be
str 18 + 2,00
agy 20 + 1,80
it shhould be something like
str 16 + 1,5
agy 23 + 2,3
because ninjas are very fast and filthy fighters butin othher hand very low on stamina.

Ofc if you need help for spell ideas for some hero I have many I think unique spell what I have planning for my maps but I can share with you some easy triggered but cool spells xD just tell if you need.
 
You know game can be very interesting if you and very good if you make heroes with spells based on supporting Like create :

Tank ( he should fight and first enter the battle his spell are based on stamina and surviving),

Support ( main job is to support others with his spells for armor bonus removing negative buffs and healing, slowing enemies )

Damage ( only job is to fight with other with his nature damage or spells )

Damage type one ( fighting from meele range with pyre damage and spells based on weapons)

Damage Type two ( caster fighting from range good in slowing enemies and good AOE damage can easy escape but have low stamina)
I mostly like maps with heroes based like this it makes good team play and can have good tactics with good team.

Hmmm good suggestions, the 10 heroes that I finished are balanced to compete with each other, but making a heroes for team play might be good.

Well I find the terrain awzmuz. Also, what tiles did you use there? I think I smell Alpha tiles though.

'Bout the heroes, I think you could benefit from a "trapper" hero.
Well maybe also an item breaker/remover or someone who does bad stuff to the enemies items.
Better to also see a Tank/Carry that relies on his Gold count.
 
Tank Suggestion Spells

Here is suggestion for paladin tank

Spell Name: Crusader's Heart
Icon: Holy Heart
Info: Hearth of the crusade will never stop fighting until crusader battle is ended
Effect:
Level 1: Crusader regenerate 2.50% of missing hit points
Level 2: Crusader regenerate 3.25% of missing hit points
Level 3: Crusader regenerate 4.00% of missing hit points
etc.

Good suggestion for tank is to make spell thunder clap with low damage, but with high ms and as slowing that will make tank more resilience

If you do not know how to make Crusader Hearth just ask I have already made that spell for my map

Map only have one custom tiles, and it was the brick tile, others used doodad tricks and invisible platform.

The "item breaker/remover" hero is kinda unique, I know a aos map uses this kind of hero. I'll try to find it to study the real concept of it.

+rep for testing(but you actually tested a older version which have many bugs :D) I'll release the next version when I fix the Life bar bugs(I mean it bugssss) or maybe disable it for while till I fix it.

Now one suggestion for supporter's spell

Name: Wave of Life
Icon: Just recolor crushing wave
Info: Sends wave with life energy to heal friendly unit in the line
Effect:
Level 1: 120 hp in 500 range
Level 2: 190 hp in 600 range
Level 3: 260 hp in 700 range etc

This spell is cool I have test it for my map to and it's to easy to create is just take crushing wave and make damage negative -120/-190/-260 and targets friendly. Thats main trick in custom spells to create unique and cool spells with minimum work
