Anybody know how to change the name of a threads?

Only mods(or may be admins) can do that. You can change the title of the first post but not the actual title of the thread.

why?.. could you make it so members can change the name of THEIR OWN THREAD?.. but not the sticky one or threads made by admins and by the other threads.

I think it is to avoid confusion. I would be damn annoying if a thread you're subscribed to kept changing their names and you just wonder what this "new" thread is about.

Kill me now. How is that common sense? It's not exactly natively within human experience to know how this forum works. That's why there's an FAQ. Also you're so fucking petty it's making me sick. All you really do is suckle the ground at our feet for shit to throw at people you think are beneath you, just so you can gain footing. It's not common sense actually and you should watch your choice of words, it is quite offending to someone you are replying to.

So, is there a way to give thread authors[owners] the privileges to edit their threads official name?

For now, if you need a thread renamed, you can click on the forum and look at the bottom. There should be a box labeled "Moderators". Just send a PM to any, or even all, of the moderators if you need your thread renamed. It doesn't inconvenience us--we do it all the time. Usually we answer pretty quickly, too.

You are also welcome to report your thread and write which name you'd like it changed to. We'll do it, no worries.
