I can see that the challenge section isn't used. So i came up with some suggestions.

  • Challange me Section

-In this section you will write a short text with information's about what you have experience at. That way user's can find someone to challenge without being super active.

  • Challenge Contest's

    -It's like a non-hosted contest. Example;
I want to make a melee contest, but only for 5 people. So i make a free challenge. So whoever that want's can join. The Challenge will start when 5 members is in.

  • Challenge profile page

    - It's a page in your profile; where all won challenges will be listed.

I'd say most people don't want to do challenges because:
  • They are too scared of losing reputation (which doesn't really mean anything).
  • They are busy with their real life schedule.
  • They cannot be bothered with it.
Or the other alternative being they can't find someone as good as them.
;D

Lol scared of losing rep?, i dont think so. Chickens ! come out and fight :O

Way 2 busy?, then why enter contests :v.

Well some people like the rep they have and don't want to lose it.

That's because you don't lose anything in contests apart from your PPRRRRIIIIIIDDDDDEEEE (DBZ meme), plus it has more people, bigger deadlines and better rewards.

Yes you do :/

The loser of a challenge will lose the total amount of reputation points the winner receives, so think twice when accepting a challenge! (The rep lost will depend on the number of challengers. For example, in a 1v1 the loser will receive, say, -20 whereas in a 1v1v1 the losers will receive -10 each and the winner receives +20.)

Check the Challenge - Rules & Guidelines for more information.
