I could do what you say, but I don't know how that mechanic would be implemented in the game. That's why I made it simple.
The building was exported by a friend of wow.

Basically would work the exact same way that peasants and Peons work in my thing at least as far as animation goes. I'd use that ability to trigger the animation switch.

I can pass those buildings in reforged, I had not thought about it.

Cool. I suggest you add empty, gold-only and lumber-only animations. You can give them the names "X Gold", "X Lumber" and "X Alternate", though I'd name the empty ones as just "X" and make the gold-and-lumber ones "Alternate".

After the fixes have been made, this is actually a very nice unit. It could work as a shredder-like miner, a mobile place to drop gold/wood, a thing to protect or to pillage in custom maps... It's quite useful tbh.
