Can't Import Models!!!

Hey I was trying to download the WC2 Church model and i saved it to the desktop. then i opened the file with the import manager and the file was empty. Then I tried another church model. Same problem. Should I not save to the desktop or something?

EDIT: Hold on, It seems that when i export object data, it shows up blank as well.... somethings up.
