Cannot Upload Map...

My map is there in Editor, and I i can play it in custom games. When I try to upload it on The Hive , It says it doesnt exist...

I have searched everywhere on this forum, help?

Map name: File not found. Check name and try again

Yea..... Its really weird. I have the first level of my campaign ready for beta testing, but when I try to upload it to the site (by going into C/Program Files/Warcraft III /Campaigns or Maps.... NONE of my maps can be found. BUT I can play them in TFT and World Editor.

I can try copying and pasting it from editor to desktop..but last time I did that, The map I did that with was rejected for some error...I don't want to take any chances....


Why can I not even find the maps in my Warcraft III folder? even if they are saved in that folder and work in custom campaigns and custom maps?

EDIT: I was able to view the campaign after I clicked on the Compatibility Files tab...But I can't do that while uploading. So for now I am stuck.

I am pretty sure I am the administrator over my computer...Why are files hiding?

Yea.. It's ok.

It is just so weird. In order to view the maps I made after going into the war3 maps folder I need to hit the compatibility files tab. But cant do that when Uploading.

Perhaps I will spend time on an altered melee Map I am reworking( Just Adding a Tuskarr Hero to an arctic looking tavern and other things) Upload It the way I got my rejected map to upload...and figure it out from there

I don't know what the compatability files tab is. Are you on Windows?

I think he meant the window compactiblity. But then again, there is no compactiblity mode for Warcraft III maps, lol!

I guess your wc3 maps are hidden.
Try to show hidden files with Folder Options - Show All Files.
