You could maybe make play 1 a computer slot just before testing. I don't actually know what happens if player 1 is a computer slot, though. Untested, just something I though of. Might cause other problems, depending on how your map works.
If it helps, in JNPG 2.0 you have multiplayer emulation, which basically opens up multiple instances of Warcraft 3. Really useful for testing multiple players at once (If you have the computer hardware to do so that is).
Write a temporary trigger which gives you vision, control and full control of the other players you want to test. Even if they are enemy to Player(0) Red it will still allow you to use them and even fight your own units with them. I do not know of A better way to test everyone at once.
Only down side is that you get good vision of the map which might influence your own unit capabilities beyond normal (attack normally out of sight enemies) but that only affects Player(0) Red (you). It also needs you to use custom script since GUI does not give you the fidelity with player alliance properties.
