as i said several times already, the map is protected. that is why it crash the editor. i actually read all posts before i posted. i call troll topic.
If he said that he was able to open it before, how did it suddenly become protected?

So why does editor crash when I try to open the map? It worked fine before (same import). Only thing I changed is the terrain and doodads amount, map border size, water terraining etc. Any ideas?

I have not protected the map. Why the hell would I protect map that is 40% finished?
And no, I do not have back up, every time I do something that should crash the editor I take back up but this time I did not since I did not protect the map.

If something is corrupted in the map, is there way to make it work?

Since it is my map I want to complete it. (At least all my fixes yesterday.)

You've got a bunch of files called War3Map.xxx. Remove them one by one and see what eliminates the crash. Do this on multiple copies. Try removing "war3mapUnits.doo" and "war3map.doo" (those are files which contain info on all units and doodads placed) and see what happens.

Do note that it's been a while since I've done stuff like that, so if it doesn't work I've become quite rusty.

I have saw other cases such as this and I fear that this map is corrupted like the others and wont work any more. You would have to start all over again even if you dont like that

BUT, if you are using the normal WE, try going to your Test Folder and find some previous saves of this which can be opened and you can start from there or in JNGP, go to your backup folder and find a working version of your map and start from there.

This is an alternative but a way base on chances and luck so best of luck, I hope you can DO find a working map of this.

Most of your map is save-able. I advise grabbing a beer, watching some TV or playing a game while I find the problem.

EDIT

The war3map.w3b file is corrupt. I am guessing invalid art of some form since the editor crashes when it tries to build the terrain.

EDIT

Not worth me looking into the exact problem. However something was corrupt with destructible object data so it had to be discarded. Everything else is fine in the map but that. Since there was only 5 entries of destructible data (according to the file) not much was lost and you should fix it in a few minutes.

EDIT

If you want to remove the checkered cubes you will probably need to recreate a destructible with the same type ID as the ones that were removed from the object editor due to corruption. They should then all become that new type.

So what was exactly removed? I can not find anything missing.
However something was corrupt with destructible object data so it had to be discarded.
All destructible object data was discarded, all 5 odd elements that were changed. I am guessing the problem related to the editor building destructible and one was invalid so caused a crash.

Destructible object data refers to the destructible section of the object editor where you can modify existing destructibles or declare new ones.
