It doesn't work for 2011-14.

I know it's a little detail and that it's not much (or at all) visited, but it'd be nice for it to be fully functional.

Why does Hive have to use all the vBulletin features?

I'd say not to bother, it's not important imo.

To be honest, I only just realized there was a calendar. I never thought about clicking on it, lol
