This is for the varies factions of games like tiberian sun, C&C 3, red alert and so on, on how little logic they use in there invasion kinda tactics.

heres a example

Red alert 2: instead of just sending masses and masses of tropps all over, why not first send over 3-4 dozen jets to bombard Washington D.C :p then invade!

Well, theres SOME logic! Eg: The Jets & troops still cost as in the real world; you are jsust paying to get them to the battlefield. Jets are quite expensive, but you are a "great" commander, so they gie you as much as you want. THUS: THey don't send in the jet's cas' of the anti-air and how costly it would be; an assult of cheap infantry and tanks in their opinion is a better choice.

Well there wouldnt be much Anti-air, didnt you see the invasion? It was totally unexpecting
and U.S wasn't doing so good at first, infact they got there asses handed at first. So sending a large force on one end and sending a lot of fast jets to bombard D.C would be a good strat

The older ones you could have stradegy; eg Tiberium Sun you had to watch where the tiberium and that creep-like creating monster thing were; eg one side could be defended against infantry assult with tiberium, and the other side with the monster-thing (assumming you had such a base or made o e in a good location). Bases had walls :D! The super-weapons were less devastating, I loved those old ones.

C&C3 did not deserve the C&C title; only Kane's Wrath was good. Red Alert 3 is returning back to the original, even with slight cartoon-y graphics. It's also going back to the grid way! :D Red Alert games were friggen' awsume!
