buildings take dmg while constructing

Hi, what do I need to change so buildings under construction take damage aswell? i couldnt find the answer to this problem yet.

What do you mean? they can already take damage...
You might not see it since it's "healing" while constructing but you should see a part of its health missing after it's done constructing

i should mention that I place them with the "place human castle" ability which is in item ability..and they dont take any damage while placing

Yes those take damage as well, but often they build up so quickly you won't notice.

Can you give some context in what you're having trouble with?

in my case they dont take dmg..i build a tower which has very low hp (building time is 1 second). When creeps attach the tower under construction it doesnt take any damage while fully built the towers gets oneshot by every creep, so it obviously doesnt work. :/

It does. As I recall, it's the "none" armor type that is supposed to take 100% damage from everything.

depends...some have 5 other have 1000

Buildings under construction have armor type normal (yes normal. Not medium.) and 0 armor rating.

Have you changed the damage normal armor takes in the gameplay constants?

I did change the settings but I also changed all settings back for testing purposes and it's still not working :/

ah I found the problem. Buildings under constructing get automatically "fortified" armor...well, good to know
