Bug map, corrupt files, lag or simply desync?

Hi everyone!

I'm currently editing a map, and when I play it in single-player, everything works fine. However, in multiplayer (not always), I encounter some bugs, such as certain abilities not being cast and infinite buffs.

For example, when a player receives a speed or slow boost, the buff is supposed to disappear after some seconds. However, even though the buff icon is gone, the unit still has the modified speed. Another issue occurs when a player casts an ability based on Shockwave or Volcano – the missile or model never appears, and the damage is not dealt.

I'm using Vexorian's Map Optimizer. Could this be causing the issue? Or could it be related to packet loss due to connection problems? Has anyone else experienced something like this before?
 
Are you sure the spells are correctly MUI friendly?
Yeah, some spells are essentially just classic aura spells with different icons. For example, I created an aura based on Endurance Aura, and when I pick up a rune that grants a Speed Scroll while the aura is active, the movement speed increases to 522 and then remains there permanently without resetting.
