enjoy: It's too blurry. Remove the orange stuff and sharpen it. Make the thing in his hand look smoother. Like glass or something. Here is a tutorial:

You can of course draw the thing free-hand, which would be prefered. But as a start, you can do it this way, since the hand and the background is enough to make it 50% freehand atleast.
Also, fix the shape so it is round ( the ball in his hand. )
Then you should fix the thumb. It looks alittle weird, but okay. The background is nice, But as said, remove all the orange stuff. When you have sharpened stuff up, you can make a pinkish aura around his arm and hand, but behind it, so it does not overlap. Do you work in layers? It makes it alot easier. If you don't, here is a tutorial!

Well, let's see.
• You can't distinguish what this is.
• It's too blurry.
• The thumb looks like a pennis.

When you look carefully, you'll realize it's a hand holding a sphere. The concept is not really original, since I can direct you here: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/icons-541/btn-soulstealing2-57347/

• The chest also needs some realistic shading, because three shaded lines won't do the proper shading. You had 30 minutes to do that, you should instead use a brush with low opacity and a darker tone of the body's color.

• The energy waves coming out of the orb are providing really low quality to the icon, as if it got blurred, sharpened and sharpened again. If you fixed that, I'd go for this icon with 100% chance.

• I like the colors

All in all, a lacking icon, but I still keep in mind the 30 minutes.
