This is much better. A few points:
* I still question the necessity for the fur at all
* The thin uniform sole makes them look particularly ugg-boot-like
* (debatable) Maybe the scales should be overlapping like plate mail?

The fur makes it look like leather to me, but the metal looks good.

Ha! I appreciate the positive thoughts but I'd rather not force you to gouge your eyes out. I have an eye for detail but absolutely no talent for painting.
Latest iteration is fantastic, I especially like the shin area. Last thoughts: the brown sole seems to dip downwards at the heel, but shoes usually do the opposite. Also I think if the toe was a bit more pointy it could *maybe* look better - not so sure about this one.
