The original has a certain intensity to it that is completely lost in the recolor. Mostly because you randomly blabbed red blotches onto the icon and removed the highlight from the eye, I think. I'd rather use the orinal for a 'skeleton rage' icon.

I don't have to make movies to pass judgement on them, I only need to watch them to weed out the ones I do like from the ones I don't like. Similarly, I don't need to "make" (your definition of making an icon is drastically different than mine, probably the reason I'm not submitting icons) icons to decide that certain icons look bad. This icon looks bad, and it definitely shouldn't be approved.
