Sin'dorei300: The shells aren't so visible in the 64x64 icon. Please define them better(shading between blade n shells, etc), it's a pity to not see 'em.
Also, i'd suggest u to change the ropes' color and make them a bit more hq-ish.

The shells look amazing on the big picture, but sadly lose a lot of detail when resized. Also, the lighting on the top shell looks off. It looks like it's receiving light from a different source than the rest of the spear. Otherwise, a pretty cool icon.

Yes I plan to do tier 2 and 3. Sharpened Coral Blades (tier 2) is already in progress.

Well, since the vanilla 1st tier upgrades didn't have background, but i did want a background i made something really simple that won't be as boring as blackness and not complicated either, so the actual weapon stands out. I can still make one if you wish, what do you have in mind?
